A Long December
It's December. You know the drill, girlfriend!
Christmas card photos, loose teeth, forgetful tooth fairy, shopping, church, lamenting the destruction of the Earth by plastic toy production, trying desperately to make the most of the like 11 hours of childcare for the month before they are let out of school like two weeks before Christmas, trying not to think about the childcare bill for those 11 hours, remembering to print the Christmas cards, addressing the cards, mailing the cards, figuring out how to mail cards to other countries, disappointing your husband because you are Not Baking something because Pregnant and Tired, needing a glass of wine after the gingerbread house construction, wondering if you're becoming a control freak, crunch time with work, lots of grading, sniffles, Not Sleeping, Christmas parade, tree farm, family coming to visit, school program, going to visit family, all of the regular daily goings-on, naptime, snack time, errands, grocery store, vacuuming, bathrooms, laundry, laundry, laundry, laundry, laundry, laundry, laundry, laundry, getting ready for Santa Claus, family coming to visit, and A PARTRIDGE IN A PEAR TREE! Whew! Pour me an eggnog, honey, that's a wrap!
Now let's have this BABY!
This is what I saw.
