Canada Day 4: Halifax Citadel
What strikes me most about the Citadel in Halifax is how timeless it is. I am really falling in LOVE with Nova Scotia. It's romantic, full of beautiful light, places, textures, and by being a bit more isolated, has maintained its history with such integrity. Somehow, it feels easier to connect with the past in a place where you aren't making your present. It's easy to get carried away with another time when you're in another place. That said, I love this place so much I would happily move here. It turns out it isn't as cold as you might think, either, because it catches a warmer ocean current there on the south coast.
We really enjoyed exploring this place. This is what we saw!
